FRONT END DEVELOPER
I’m new to Roar and fairly new to coding, I left university with a degree in economics but I always loved computers so over the last few years I have coded more and more.
Finding that despite English not being my first language, I can learn new codes quickly and I love the challenge of pushing myself to learn new things. My first laptop, at age 12 was English and so I couldn’t understand a word of it but thankfully, most codes are written in English so I learnt English through learning to code.

LIFE at Roar
I love being here, Roar is relaxed and it’s so easy to communicate with people in your team and outside of it, everyone is understanding and there is so much trust between colleagues.
It’s a great opportunity to learn more about the specific areas I’m interested in. Allowing me to develop my skills and learn completely new ones.
Outside of Roar
Currently, I am learning Italian because knowing Brazilian Portuguse, English and multiple code languages just wasn’t enough for me.
I also enjoy cooking new dishes, being by the water and exploring all the wonderful things London has to offer (especially the food!).
